THIS NEW "SHOT HEARD ROUND DA WORLD" PROMO PIC JUST DROPPED. THE ONCE AND FUTURE BEARD ALEX FARRILL BRUSHED HIS TEETH WITH LUCKY CHARMS.

The Shot Heard Round the World are kind of the opposite of Native American-based Pop but then you take a step back and start thinking about Reggaeton or some shit and then those supposed opposites seem like the exact same thing.
People who think Men and Women are opposites need to take a trip to the zoo.

Hey Jed,
The Shot Heard Round the World is a NYC band that wears coonskin caps. Given their name and their costumes, they radiate a colonial/frontier vibe (Cowboys, Davy Crockett, Revolutionary War Heros, etc).
Sometimes people use easy binaries to help them categorize the world. Cowboys are the opposite of Indians, Men are the Opposite of Women, Chocolate is the opposite of Vanilla. When you listen to Reggaeton, however, you realize that The Shot Heard Round the World has a lot in common with Native American based pop. In fact, they almost belong to the same vibe-category.
Similarly, a lot of people talk big game about Men vs. Women, THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES, but then they go to the zoo and a monkey gets loose the steals their camera and they will say "Men, Women, my human brothers and sisters, come let us destroy these animal others."
Do you feel my vibe, Jed?
